Betty was deeply hurt because she thought that Armando left her behind but Armando hurriedly went at Betty’s magazine HQ. He explains that he fought hard against his father just to keep her at the office. He told Betty that instead getting fired, she was just suspended for a month. Armando was upset at Betty for being too judgmental towards him while Betty was very repentant for sending Armando away. She tries to make up by preparing breakfast for him but Armando told him that she needs to do more to win him over again. Marcela on the other hand was delighted to hear that her ugly rival is out in Ecomoda but Daniela told her the bad news. Marcela rushed to Ecomoda and was disgusted upon seeing Betty and Armando kissing each other.

The two were denying that they’re kissing but Marcela called on Rose as a witness to confirm that there is some lip gloss at Armando’s lips. Rose contradicts Marcela’s claims and it backfires on the younger Valencia, making her look like an insane person. Daniela does not completely believe Marcela’s claims but she instructed Macario to spy on Betty and Armando. Rose overheard the whole conversation and quickly warns Betty about the plot.

Betty and Armando began to be careful but before pretending to be just in a boss-to-secretary relationship. Betty finally gave her sweet yes on Armando, who’s in so much joy dances outside the elevator. Marcela tries to convince Roberto but Armando’s father didn’t buy her allegation. But just to make sure that there’s really nothing going on between his son and Betty, Roberto ask Armando for the second time. Armando nervously denies having any personal involvement on Betty. Betty heard the entire conversation because Armando left his phone on and was slightly hurt because of Roberto’s disapproval on her.
